Macedonia, the new minister suspends 23 police leaders for violence in the Assembly

Macedonia’s new interior minister in the government, Oliver Spasovski, announced on Thursday the suspension of 23 senior police officers due to suspicions of their role in violent events in Parliament on April 27th.

A working group at the Ministry of Public Order has prepared a report on the events of April 27 and found that there has been a violation of the law on the police.
