On October 4th, 1448, in the military camp of Gjergj Kastrioti in Lezha, where were gathered other Albanian lords, comrades of Skanderbeg, was signed the peace between Albanians and Venetians. The treaty of Peace with Venetians is an international document that proves for the existence of the Albanian Concentrated State, its external policy and the relations with other powerful states of the region. Its practical importance is in the fact that this treaty avoided the war in two fronts and created an opportunity for the Albanians, helping the Hungarian allies in the fight against the Ottomans.
