The first signals for the baptism of children with Albanian names, was given by the press of the time. In the notebooks of that time, on April 4th, 1937, was published the first list of names for boys and girls drawn up by the patriot Ali Baba Tomori. The purpose was to create a tradition in this area, like other nations, evocation of the ancient past and the suppression of religious differences, so borrowing names from Turkish, Greek and other languages. The list of published names in those years, already has taken place in our language.
