On February 9th, 1913, the Serbian-Montenegrin forces, launched the bloody attacks for the occupation of Shkodra. Despite the huge losses, the Belgrade government continued the military action under the slogan “Shkodra or the death”. This was done with the intention to make know the Great Powers the annexation of the ancient city of Shkodra.
