Fan Noli, with the quality of prime minister on December 18th, 1924 requested, through telegrams to the English, French and Italian government, and the League of Nations, to intervene at the Yugoslav government to end the aggression that was continuing for several days on Albanian borders, by the regular Yugoslav forces and the bands of Ahmet Zogu, often led by Yugoslav officers. But none of the Great Powers answered the appeals to Tirana. Even the League of Nations, did not took any measures to protect its member from the attack of another member, as was required by its charter.
