Nikolla Naço
On January 9th, 1887, Nikola Naco, established in Bucharest the society “Drita” and with the subsidies received by the Romanian government began publishing the newspaper “Shqiptari”. The journal was published in Albanian and Romanian and its political and cultural program pretend the creation of a common Albanian-Vlachstate, as a force to afford the chauvinistic Greek, Serbian and Bulgarian goals.
