Belgrade
Two centuries ago, in Belgrade Patriarchy broke out the liberation uprising against the Ottoman invaders. On January 8th 1807, the insurgents liberated Belgrade. The Serbian insurgents also supported the Albanians, the highlanders of Shkodra province, the volunteers of Pogon and of southern Albania.
