On April 6th, 1528, died Albreht Dyrer, the renowned German painter and grafist, one of the brightest personalities of the European Renaissance. Has left an entire gallery with works of various genres, the great master has worked the portrait of our national hero George Castriot, which is reproduced in the Albanian student magazine pages “Djaleria”, of 1922, published in Vienna. The engraving is reproduced with the notation “Skanderbeg after the authenticity by Dyrer “. On both sides of the engraving are set two photos, double-headed eagle, with five-pointed star, the sword and helmet of Skanderbeg and the inscriptions “One for all and all for one”, “An authentic painting done by the pen of 1500 .. “The work of Dyrer has served for centuries for the recognition of George Castriot and his legendary war in Germany and beyond.
