On December 5th, 1935 the newspaper “Besa” wrote for the recital of soprano Tefta Tashko, in Korca. The concert was held in the hall of the gym “Leku i Nxënësit”. The artist was accompanied on piano by Professor of the National Lyceum of Korca, Sotir Kozmo, and interpreted classical songs as well as Albanian folk music. She sang for the audience aria from “La Traviata”, “Madam Butterfly”, “Bohemia” etc. A tremendous success had the folk song “Bilbil, o i mjeri Bilbil”.
