On March 4th, 1993, began the publication of the first magazine for children “Vatra e Rinise”, that was prepared by the writer and journalist Vasil Xhaçka. Addition to writing from the lives and school activities, in its pages were published poetry, short stories, tales and many other writings on art, culture, science, etc. The chief editor of magazine Vasil Xhacka, can be considered as the writer who laid the foundation of children’s literature.
