“Nation’s Sculptor”, pedagogue, deputy and member of the Presidium of the People’s Assembly, Kristaq Rama, was born on July 31, 1922. He was graduated from the Faculty of Arts at the Academy of Arts “Rjepin” of Leningrad (today St. Petersburg). In 1973, he traveled to Italy and France and in 1975, in the People’s Republic of China.
