The Reci War, one of the most successful battles in the district of Shkodra, took place on August 30, 1943. In the partisan battalion “Perlat Rexhepi” took part the first Recit Çeta and many volunteers and armed peasants. On the second day of the fighting, the Partisan forces attacked and forced the invaders to retreat to Shkodra leaving on the battlefield 114 killed and injured.
