In Los Angeles, on August 3, 1982, was established “Drita” orchestra ” (Albanian Folk Orchetra). It consists of American musicians who play Albanian folk music in the US. It was created at the initiative of Jan Fice, who since 1968 has visited our country more than 30 times, collecting and recording parts of Albanian folk creativity. The orchestra has performed numerous concerts in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and elsewhere. It has also published the first CD, with 20 songs and popular melodies.
