On August 3, 1922, was concluded the Tirana Educational Congress, which made important decisions for the democratization of the Albanian school and the unity of the teaching work. He demanded placement of the compulsory primary education, approved deadlines and the new school curriculum for primary schools, decided to open the 3-year low vocational schools and the 6-year gymnasium, halved the hours of religious education, and received a range of other decisions, for the advancement of national education.
