On April 29th, 1951, the new Corps of Albanian Philharmonic premiered the ballet “Shatrivani i Bahçirsarajit”. This was the first ballet performed by our artists on the capital scene. Afterwards, the Albanian viewers have admired classical genres such as “The Life of the Artist”, “Shehrezade”, “Romeo and Zhuljeta”, “Francesca Da Rimini”, etc. The first step, which marks the beginning of the Albanian choreographic art, is related to the show of the Albanian Philharmonic on April 29th, 1951.
