In the assembly of Barcallasë which was held on January 29th, 1920 was decided that the Italian invaders from had to leave Vlora immediately. For the organization of the war were established The Committee “Mbrojtja Kombëtare”, and the military command for the direction of the military operations. The Assembly appealed to Albanians to take up arms and rise up in the war against foreign invaders.
