The Albanian Screen, today celebrates the birth anniversary of one of our pioneers of filmmaking, prominent director and screenwriter Hysen Hakani. He was born in Berat on 28 July 1932. After completing the Artistic Lyceum, Jordan Misja for the actor, he continued his high-profile film studies at the “FAMU” Faculty of Fine Arts in Prague, Czech Republic. As a diploma, she filmed the first Albanian short feature film, “Her Children”, where she also prepared her screenplay. So he is also the author of the first screenplay of Albanian art film. In the creative bibliography of Hysen Hakani, there are counted 11 feature films, 10 chronic and documentary films and 5 movie scripts.
