On April 27th, 1463, in Skopje, a peace agreement was signed between the Albanian forces and the Ottoman armies. During 1462, Sultan Mehmeti II sent to Albania three expeditions one after the other. Albanian fighters, under the leadership of George Castriot, broke them and forced the terrible sultan to return to his dungeon. A year later, he was forced to sign the peace with Albanians, which lasted for only a year.
