Today our country celebrates the anniversary of the opening of the National Lyceum of Korca. It started his operations on October 25th 1917, by Decision of Governmental Council of the Autonomous Province of Korca and was led by the French pedagogue Vital Gerson. Were recorded 36 people, of whom 9 finished their studies. The first graduates of the Lyceum were Selaudin Mborja, Refi Kasikmati, Petraq Pepo, Ligor Sarafimi, Medai Shtylla, Xhavit Beli, Dhimitër Goda, Petro Lako and Nikollaq Adhami.
