24 November 1784, Mahmut Pashë Bushatlliu began the construction of the commercial ships

By a letter of dated November 24^th, 1784, the Venetian vice-consul in Shkodra informed his superiors that Mahmut Pasha Bushatlliu, was building commercial ships that can compete the Republic and strength the position of the ruler of the Patriarchy of Shkodra.
