Harallamb Kristo Koçi, who emigrated on January 21st, 1895, held in St. Petersburg, the artistic program “Albanian evening” with the participation of the most prominent artists of the imperial theater, choir and ballet troupe. In the first part of the program, among the different performances were included also the “Songs of Korca” some ballads and romances composed by Harallamb Kristo Koçi, who had finished the University and Conservatory of St. Petersburg. In the second part of the program were shown Albanian dance and songs executed by the imperial choir and ballet troupe dressed in Albanian suits under the direction of maestro Albanian.
