On 21 to 24 December 1996, was held the 34th Song Festival in Radio Television. The first Prize and the Audience Prize at this great musical event, was won by Ardit Gjebrea with the song “Jon Project “; the second prize for composition deserved Osman Mula with the song “Do you want love,” sung by Ledina Celo and Luan Zhegu; the third prize was given to the song “My symphony”, sung by Sherif Merdani. In this festival, one of the earliest participants of festivals, the singer Kozma Dushi deserved the Career Prize.
