On November 20th 1972, in Tirana, began the Congress the Orthography of Albanian Language. 87 scholars from Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and arberesh of Italy were gathered to extract the conclusions of the popular discussion, that had began in 1967, for the spelling of the national literary language of all Albanians.
