On August 17, 1834, Turkish army units, under the command of General Daut Pasha, as written by the chronicler of the time, conducted firefighting in the Tabak field, called Spahive Field, in the city of Shkodra. The aim of the Ottoman invaders was to fix the revolted Shkodra.
