One of the founders of the Albanian ethnology, Rock Zojzi was born in Shkodra on November 16th, 1910. As a climber and researcher, since in his youth he went in all the ethnographic regions of Albania, gathering and studying the necessary materials. In the press of after liberation period, there are some studies about his journeys and his studies. But he entered into the scientific way on evidencing of unrepeatable ethnographic assets of our country, only after the liberation, when were created the special institutions: Folklore Institute and its archives, the central museums and in the districts museums and central in the districts, where preserved and reflected these values. He assisted in the establishment of these museums, he wrote many articles and studies, formulated albums with great ethnographic value, evidenced in scientific assemblies the Albanian ethnographic treasures.
