With the telegram dated on April 16th, 1939 that the government’s Prime Minister Shefqet Vërlaci sent to the Secretary of the League of Nations announced the exit of Albania from this international organization, the predecessor of the United Nations. The exit of Albania by the League of Nations was ordered by Rome.
