On April 15th, 1939, a special envoy went to Rome to submit the Albanian crown to Victor Emanuel III. It was chaired by the Prime Minister Shefqet Vërlaci and Minister of Justice Xhafer Ypi. To the delegation was made a sensational hospitality in the Italian capital. Benito Mussolini hosted his members by himself.
