In the Bulgarian capital Sofia on November 14th, 1901 was published the bi-weekly newspaper “Drita”. This political, social, cultural and literary newspaper was directed by Shahin Kolonja. “Drita” is recognized as one of the most important organs of our press during the war for the independence. The most progressive patriots of that time collaborated with this newspaper, helping for the preparation of the armed uprising.
