In the village of Sinjë, in the district of Berat, on May 14th, 1927, was born the journalist Milto Ferre. He finished the education in Berat and Vlora and was graduated in Literature Language at the University of Tirana. For many years he worked as a correspondent in Vlora and Fier. In 1970, he was appointed deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Bashkirni” and then collegiate secretary in the magazine, “Bujqësia socialiste”. On the press pages of the time, hundreds of his journalistic writings have been published as well as literary creations like sketches and humorous stories.
