The first School of Girls
Albanian Nationwide Collectors Center participated in the Conference “125 Years the First School of Girls 1891-2016”. In the hall of Sheraton Hotel was commemorated the contribution of Qiriazi family in the development of Albanian education. In the context of the Renaissance in 1891 was established the first School of Girls in Korca. This was a moment achieved with great sacrifices for the social emancipation of Albanian girls. Teaching of native language was the only way that would make possible the liberation from occupation of the Albanian Nation. With the participation of many personalities as David Hosaflook, Dana Stucky, Shpëtim Sala, Roza Anagosti, etc.,the first School of Girls was commemorated by giving the attention it deserves.
