The Albanian bibliophiles today commemorate the death of Aldo Çoba. He was born in Shkodra in 1910. He finished the Franciscan College in his hometown and the American College in Istanbul. Was graduated in Literature at the University of Rome and took a PhD in archeology. He taught at the Gymnasium of Korca and after 1941, worked at the National Library. He gave his valuable contribution in the field of Albanology, thus becoming one of the first authors of the bibliography of the albanological works of XVI-XVII centuries. His scientific work was awarded with medals and orders. He died on February 12th, 1962.
