In the Bulgarian capital, on March 11th, 1911 was published the first number of the newspaper “Liri e Shqiperise”. The newspaper was directed by Kristo Luarasi and was published three times a week. It treated with a special interest the patriotic and liberation movement in Albania and the Albanian expatriate colonies during the years 1911-1912, giving a great contribution to the propagation of the Albanian issue in the international arena and sensitization of public opinion outside the world.
