After leaving the battle of Nish, Gjergj Kastriot, November 10th, 1443, arrived in Dibra. There were gathered Albanian leaders, who provided him support in the war against the Ottoman invaders. Dibra negotiations were the first step for the preparation of the Albanian peoples for the General Uprising against the ottomans, under the direction of Skanderbeg.
