On August 10, 1884, was published the first number of “Drita” magazine. Though the monthly magazine was published in Bucharest by Pandeli Sotiri, it was directed by Sami Frasheri, Naim Frasheri and Jani Vreto. Many well-known Albanian co-operatives, such as Koto Hoxhi, Petro Poga and others, collaborated.
