In Korca on February 1st, 1911, came the first issue of the weekly newspaper “Koha”. This newspaper was headed by Mihal Grameno, with his brothers Koco and Mina Grameno. With this writings the newspaper defended the independence issue of Albania.”Koha” was traversed by the anti-feudal and democratic spirit too. In the years 1921-1924 became the main body of the democratic movement by supporting the Revolution of June and the government of Noli. In the writings of “Koha” was also published many literary texts. With this newspaper collaborated prominent names like: Noli, Themistokli Gërmenji, Sotir Peci, Hil Mosi etc.
