On March 11st, 1928, was born the prominent folklorist Rrapaj Fatos Mero. He dedicated 55 years of his life to the collection and study of our folk treasury from all Albanian territories. His work has around 50 volumes and the majority of them is in the script. In 1983 he published “folk songs of Chamuria “, while in 1995, “onomastic vocabulary of Epirus”.
