The first Albanian stamp was issued on May 1st, 1913. It is a round seal with an outer diameter of 37.8 millimeters. With it are stamped 2232 stamps. Three more programs of the Government of Vlora were also stamped by hand. These are the first Albanian stamps, very rare and of great philatelic and monetary value.
