On July 2nd, 1804, between the Sulyots and Chamarians, the treaty of friendship was concluded against Ali Pasha Tepelena. The leaders “became brothers” and vowed to fight together to defend the land and its rights against Ali and whoever delivers them against them. – The General Council of the Albanian League of Prizren approved on July 2nd, 1878, the “Kanunin e Ri”, addressing the organizational, political and military aspects of the League. The founding document marked the full victory of national forces in the League.
