In Bicaj village of Kukes, on May 24th, 1959, was born Haxhi Dogjani, geologist engineer. After graduating from the Faculty of Geology and Mining of the University of Tirana, he studied the discovery of chromium in Suroi region. He has also worked to discover the reserves of decorative stones, marble limestone and other building materials, in Kukes district. For good results, is decorated with “Medal for outstanding work in geology – mining”.
