In 1208, Dhimitri, the great ruler of Arbëria, signed the peace treaty with Ragusa. In the text of the agreement, he swears on “four holy Gospels of God that no fraud and no malicious I will have the sure peace and I will always remember how I live in the city of Ragusa and with all the people “.
