Sami Kulla from Prizren, in cooperation with Anastas Byku, on March 1st, 1907 published in Cairo, Egypt, the weekly, political and social newspaper “Pellasgu”. The newspaper was published in Albanian, Turkish and French had the motto “Albania of Albanians”. It defended our national rights. In its pages, Sami Kulla spread the idea of fighting for freedom, for the protection of the Albanian language and nationality. After announcing the “constitution” of the Young Turks, he returned home, but did not agree with their anti-Albanian policy, and he was persecuted and imprisoned by the Young Turks.
