The secretary of the society “Maresi”, on February 15th, 1907 made a declaration for the creation of the common alphabet of our language. The declaration was published in the newspaper ” Shpnesa e Shqypnisë ” by patriot Nikoll Ivanaj in Ragusa. As a very useful initiative for the education and Albanian culture, the declaration was published in several new Albanian notebooks in Europe and United States.
