In the context of the War of Tirana, on November 14th, 1944 began the Mushqeta battle, one of the most successful struggles against the Nazi forces. During the battle that lasted 24 hours, were exterminated 1700 enemy forces, who intended to enter into the capital city, where had intense fighting and were captured all the military materials of the motorcade.
