On November 24th, 1450 the Venice Senate sends Gjergj Kastriot, the message according to which the Republic of St. Mark was ready to intervene at the Sublime Porte in Istanbul, to appease the Sultan with Skanderbeg. This was exactly at the time when Albanians, led by Skanderbeg, had routed the siege of Kruja that was a big win for them.
