The war of Arbana, was the first great battle between partisan forces and those of German Vermahti in Tirana district. On October 9th, 1943, 2000 elected forces of Corpus 21, started the attacks in three direction for the elimination of the General Staff of the National Liberation Army and the Staff of Peza Group. But they encountered the resistance of partisan troops and people, and were forced to surrender, leaving in the battle field 52 murdered and many military materials.
