Teachers of the Albanian School in 1945
On September 21st 1949, in the “Official Newspaper ”, was published the Decree that obligated the citizen to learn writing and reading. This act marked the second and definitive stage of the great nation action of the disappearance of illiteracy. In Autumn of that year, was held the Nation Conference, that realized the plan of “the war against the illiteracy”. The accomplishment of this plane made possible the disappearance of illiteracy for ten years in Albania; this is an achievement in the history of the Albanian schools and education.
