In the north of the country, in Shkodra, on August 7, 1833, Turkish ruler Ali Namik Pasha organized a surprise reprieve; His soldiers entered the Tabak and Theresa neighborhood, where they encountered the armed resistance of Shkodra and were forced to retreat.
