The letter of Marquis de Vareza dated on November 9th, 1456 is about the pragmatic and hostile policy of Venice, to Gjergj Kastriot. The Senate of the Republic has ordered secretly, his subordinates in Arbëria lands, to fight against Skanderbeg, to prevent the strengthening of its alliance with Aragona. The Senate also asked them to not allow the passage of Albanian forces, through lands that were ruled by Venice, to fight against the Ottomans.
