For the first time, on June 9th, 1937, the Durrës Beach was published and advertised as a place of rest and tourism. There, according to the newspapers of the time, the villas of the rich people were raised, as well as some public cabins for the citizens. Owners of “popular baths”, were Rexhep Breshku and Noti Strati. So 7 decades ago, begins the story of Durrës Beach.
