The journalist from Kosovo Tahir Desku was born on September 7, 1957. The journalist’s path started in the student newspaper “New World” of the University of Pristina, to continue on Pristina Television and after its closure as editor-in-chief of the American- Albanian “Albanian Herald”, etc. Tahir Desku, also was known for his verses: four volumes with poetry bear his name.
